This is a wildlife
study that transcends time. The idea to make a dinosaur stems back to
my youth, when they were the only thing I had much interest in. In first
grade, the teacher had us draw pictures to fill a page labeled "I
am thankful for", to celebrate Thanksgiving. What did I draw? Dinosaurs.
The other reason I created this piece was because it has become a midwestern
occurance to build large outdoor dinosaur skeletons out of car parts.
I grew sick of people asking me if I'd made the ones along our interstate,
so I decided to make my own.
